This spacecraft launched on November 7, 1996, and entered Mars orbit on September 11, 1997. It will orbit Mars for at least 2 years. This homepage contains mission-related information, as well as updates on the Mars Relay Flight Test which ham radio operators can follow during the first few months after launch.
