The MARSupials are concerned about you. We are worried about the bickering that is going on between you.

Andrew, there is no call for belittling your friends on Mars. No one anticipated meeting an Amphibian. No one could have suspected it would be able to talk, listen and learn. Its discovery was very exciting -- all the more so because it could communicate.

I wonder why Elder Brother selected the Star Wars Trilogy for display to the Endless Emperor? Does it appear to you that he believes what he sees in it is the real condition on Earth? Do you suppose he believes we have ships that can fly through space and battle like the Millenium Falcon? How funny it would be if that were true!

Daniel, thank you for your good advice to Bette.

Bette, you did well talking to the Emperor. I am certain his decision will be moved in a favorable direction because of you. And good work on retrieving and forwarding the history of the Ipsolstai and the Amphibians.

Gail. The excerpts you have shown us confirm some of our worst fears about the Amphibians. I want you to carefully review the entire text to ensure we are interpreting it correctly. I believe your admonission to Enoch is wise in the meantime.

Enoch, what can I say to you? I have repeatedly told you not to put yourself down. You have an innocence about you that requires you trust strangers. You would not willingly bring another to harm and have difficulty believing anyone else would either. It is that quality that makes you such a good ambassador and friend. Don't give up on yourself. We have not and neither should you.

Zachary, what is all this doom and gloom talk? The game is not over yet. We still have options open to us.

Spur revealed there are 20 million Amphibians waiting to follow his command. Why have they all waited for so long? It is because they are so rigid in their heirarchical organization that they cannot act without their designated leader's orders. They have waited for Spur to contact them. If you prevent Spur from joining them, they will not be able to continue.

So the question is, "How do we stop Spur?" The first thing I would do is remove his armor. Take away from him his ability to contact the other Delemreck and his ability to jump to a ship (he must have the armor to make the jump). Try not to destroy it if you can, but be prepared to do so if it is the only way to keep it from him or keep his army away from you.

Without a leader, the Delemreck will be confused and vulnerable. Then The One may be able to help. Perhaps he will be able to gather our Probe and Ipso friends at the Ipso home world and bring them to us in the Guardian of Younger Nest Brothers. The prophecy the Delemreck are so certain promises their dominance over Earth may really be a prediction that the Ipsos will defeat them and come to Earth to live with us in peace. Only time will reveal the truth of my suppositions.

The bottom line here is you must not give up hope. There are always possibilities, no matter how slim, that could mean the difference between annihilation and victory.
