Hello,
as for your questions about TV,
TV is short for Television. A TV Is basically a screen that picks up certain signals and displays them. TV's are used mostly for watching fictional stories called television shows. The television show big brother reffered to is called Star Trek. The reason we watch these stories are for entertainment. It is almost like reading a book, except you can watch the charaters on the screen insted of reading words.
