I am sure that that probe you found is harmless.
It was lanched by NASA It is a "smart probe" It is kind of like you. But it does not have a personality or language.
I think it would be Okay to take it with you.
NASA can't "talk" to it any more for one reason or another.
You should find a lander near by.It should not be armed and is not the C-Lander. It is called Pathfinder. It has three "pettles" and some very strong fabric under it.
The small probe is solar powered and so isPathfinder.
