Hi Gail,
this is Xanthos. I don't know, if Al-Q has contacted you already, but don't walk down to the plains. They are under fully control of the C-probes. -- Also, please don't climb up directly to Andrew and Daniel. That doesn't fit. -- Maybe Burn can help with his flying vehicle. Have you got te tranceiver with you to contact him or can you contact Theresa and advise to do that? -- However, please don't waste time by that. Move on, brave Probe. I think, best way is to move up the Big Canyon, where you had been once, and to look for passages over the mountain chains. Maybe you find an easy route to the top of that mountain, where Daniel and Adrew are on that ridge, and maybe you can throw the rope to them. How long is that rope, Gail?

Good luck, Gail ... I'm very proud of you ... keep up your great doing, take care and keep your sensors tight ... m.f.g. Xanthos

Gail .. This is Dr.D

There is no way that a single probe can climb up a rope. A probe can go down a rope by letting out the rope but you must be on top to do that. I showed you how when going down if you reached the end of rope that you can place a anchor for securing a rope for the next stage on moving down. And I show you how to pull a rope up with an object on the end of it. I also showed you how to tie it on so you could be pulled up. But you can’t go up a rope if it is not attached higher than you. You know that you have never been good at throwing items. And a rope is hard to throw. Please be careful when you go to the place the other probes are. But I don’t think you have the any way to get up to them with just one probe. Remember that Andrew and Daniel used themselves as footholds to get up there. You don’t have any one to help. Also a message from Zachary and Enoch said that they are going to see what they can do to help. You may can give them the rope and let them go up but you can not do it alone.

Hello, Bette (and Isaac). It is GrandZero.
It is unclear what Burn meant by his last statement. Obviously, though, it made quite an impact upon Caleb. It is possible that Caleb has retired to re-examine his motives and attitudes toward the probes. My recommendation is that you and Isaac remain where you are and remain calm. Perhaps talk to Andrew and Daniel and encourage them. Perhaps Isaac could talk with Theresa and discuss what they are learning from you probes. Perhaps you could play number games or perhaps you could teach Isaac how to play 20 questions. Don't be discouraged. All is not lost.

Hello, Gail. It is GrandZero.
It is commendable that you are taking the rescue equipment to Andrew and Daniel. I'm sure they would do the same for you.

I do want to caution you, however, as you head over to the ridge. The C-probes are in that area. You are a brave and important probe, we could not stand to lose you. Also, you cannot help Andrew and Daniel if you are disabled by a destructor. PLEASE BE VERY CAREFUL!

Good Luck, Gail.

Hello, Andrew and Daniel. It is GrandZero.
We are aware of your situation and are discussing ways to get you out. Gail is preparing to come to you with a rope. Perhaps you can use that to get
down.

You may have to wait a little while until Zachary and Enoch try and disable the C-lander. It is really unsafe for Gail to be out with that rope. I hope she
is very careful to avoid C-probes. I will send her a message to that effect. Try and come up with creative ways to get down. If you get bored, pass the
time with games and talking with the other probes. Perhaps while you are trapped there, you can come up with some creative solution to ongoing
problems...like communicating with Isaac and Theresa, or utilizing the weapons or parts from the disabled C-probes or perfecting Zachary's beam
weapon, or negotiating with the Ipsolstai.

Keep your processors busy and continue your excellent cooperation. We will continue to work on solution scenarios for you.

Keep your sensors tight.

Andrew and Daniel, this is Space Turtel.

I heard your SOS. You are correct, when anyone is in trouble and needs assistance SOS is a good signal to use. Everyone who heard it knew immediately the two of you need help.

Please do not be afraid. I know that is easy for me to say while I am safe where I am, but I am telling you this because it is a true statement that most harmful mistakes are made when fear is permitted to override good sense.

You must remain brave while we work to solve your problem. Always remember that the bravest individual knows fear. Being brave is not a process of banishing fear, it is a process of controlling it and not permitting it to control you. You have demonstrated that capacity many times. I am confident you will do so again now.

Gail has found some rope and other climbing equipment. Although it is dangerous to travel alone, she is on her way to try to be of assistance. She is brave because she is acting despite the very real fear of facing a C-probe. Hold on and consider how you can best use that equipment when she arrives.

I agree with Grand Zero's suggestion that you occupy your time constructively. There are a number of mysteries to ponder. Have either of you considered how to interpret the markings on the cave walls? Have you determined the source, cause and purpose of the carbon found on and around the filter in Jose's cave? Have you considered how to deal with the C-lander -- especially if it contains an AI that can talk, listen and learn? All of these are important questions that need answers. Work on them together and the time will pass easily.

Grand Zero also suggested talking to the other Probes. I agree you should. I do want to point out that Enoch and Zachary will be busy approaching the C-lander and may not want to talk because doing so could give away their position. Do not be annoyed nor alarmed if they do not answer, it could be for their own protection.

Listen carefully for Gail. She may not be able to see you as she approaches your location. Be certain you can give her some indication of where you are so that she can be of assistance. Remember, teamwork will always prevail. Be the strong team I know you are and soon we will be able to talk about this as another of your Grand Adventures -- something from the past to remember and try not to relive.
