Hi Bette,
this is Xanthos. Don't worry about the EU-probe in front of the Fortress. Just move over to one of the side tunnels, you've excavated with help of the drones and leave a good visible track, so the EU-probe can follow you. Make sure the trap tunnel is open and after passing in close the main tunnel. When you or Enoch can see the EU-probe entering the trap tunnel by the sensors, you've put there, then close the trap tunnel. Voila !! -- What's about that ??
