Andrew reporting.
"Daniel, I need your help. I want to get back to you and Bette. Please send
coordinates."
I tried to backtrack and return along the course that I had taken. I was unable
to do this. I had carefully recorded each turn and change of elevation, but
something is wrong. When I retreated up the spiral ramp, it extended for several
unrecorded extra spirals before I got to the top. I continued along the
corridor to the hexagonal room with four elevators, but I never arrived there.
The corridor now ends in a hexagonal room with five elevators and no other exit.
Since it is not possible for me to get lost, the conclusion is unescapable:
the architecture of the building has changed. I suppose this would be marginally
possible. The main question is "why"? Is this a test?
Isaac is still scared. He won't do anything, he just sits there holding onto Daniel.
An Ipsolstai came into the room today and Isaac started to shake harder. Daniel
keeps himself between Isaac and the Ipsolstai and I've been talking to him.
"It's ok, Isaac. We're here, we won't let them hurt you anymore."
I hope he believes me. the Ipsolstai flashed at us quickly.
Name Nelson is it mine. Fixing I am here terminal to. Afraid do not you be.
He then went over to the terminal. He picked up Isaac's ball and looked at it for
a moment and then tossed it away. Isaac left Daniel and grabbed the ball and
brought it back with him. The Ipsolstai worked on the terminal for hours
and we just watched. I didn't want to turn my attention away for a minute. I'm
afraid of the Ipsolstai. I don't think they are nice anymore. Daniel
says otherwise.
"Some nice. Many not. Not probes."
The Ipsolstai finally stopped and told us he needed more parts and would come
back tomorrow. Then he left. Isaac calmed down considerably once he left and started
playing with his ball. He says there is something strange going on with it. I
wonder what he means? I'm going to have a look.
It begins.

I understand him.

I would not wish that on anyone.
Even the Ipsosltai.
"I'm pleased to meet you, Rosjim. We already are fleeing from the Delemrek, but
we don't know which way would be the best. We are trying to find Burn. We thought
that Burn would know what to do, because he helped us before."
I don't want to go one step farther. There is no safe place. We might just as
well stay here. This Rosjim says that the Ipsolstai won't be any help at all.
"Enoch, tell him to go away if he can't help. He isn't like Burn. He's broken or sick or something."
I had to use all my negotiation skills. Rosjim constantly repeated that his mission was
to tell us that we shouldn't waste any time and to flee. That's why Burn sent him. But where
to go? Back to the Big Canyon? No!! I never will do that. Kim and I barely survived
down there. That's no way! We want to meet Burn.
Finally Rosjim gave up. He said that Burn will tell him that he failed badly in performing
his mission. He doesn't know what to tell Burn. What can he do if we don't accept Burn's
advice? But if we really insist, he is willing to take us to Burn. Burn will have to
handle the situation.
After Rosjim stated all that, he turned around and we went back to the main tunnel where
Gail saw the Ipsolstai fighting against the Amphibians. At first the tunnel looked
intact, but then I saw the spherical holes in the walls. I pointed to them and told Gail
how the warriors were punctured, and Rosjim said:
I was just about to ask more about that when he stopped and said:
Here we are, trying not to worry. It's not only the Amphibians, it's also Caleb.
What if he puts us in jail like Bette and Isaac?
Thixel, hurry and get well. We need you.
Hi, Thixel. It's great that you are still with us. I missed your advice. It was always
very helpful. We are in a very tricky situation now. The Amphibians landed and they
have a powerful kind of weapon. We have no idea how to stop them.
Thixel, does ill mean a malfunction of your body? Do you have someone, who can
fix that? Dr.D is good in fixing that kind of stuff. He also fixed Andrew, when his
radiation was leaking. Please, get well soon. I can send you an image that I got, when I
was disconnected on the other side of the Big Canyon. It shows a small canyon that
leads to the observation post where I was.
Bryce, I told Elder Brother about your ideas and also about the laser we built once
to dazzle the C-probes. He said that he has electronic equipment at the factory. Maybe
we can build a better laser than the one we already had. He said that he will split
up, so EB I will remain with half of the warriors at the Big Canyon and EB III, Mao
and I will move with about twenty warriors to the factory.
Elder Brother also wants to see our communications at Stage One again. He said that
he maybe can trick the orbiter, but he doesn't know yet if it works. It's something with
the satellite Phobos, but he was quite cryptic concerning that.
"Enoch, we are moving to the factory."
