We need to find out a lot more about these amphibians! For example,
the probes may have left out key (to phibs) elements in their
description of earth. First, much of the earth is covered by salt
water. Is salt water a problem for a phib? Would a phib melt when in the presence of salt, like our slugs do here? Our atmosphere contains
a lot of both oxygen and nitrogen. Can a phib live in such an
atmosphere? And then there are micro-organisms. How would a phib fight
a common cold off?

We need to think of a lot of these possibilities and continue to have
the probes ask the Phibs questions about their prefered habitat. We
may find a weapon or even be able to talk them out of coming to
earth.
