Unless I am mistaken, the Amphibian is trying to communicate with Enoch using what we termed as "rocktalk". This is the first form of communication Daniel tried with the other probes after he was first found "wandering in the desert".
This leads me to think that possibly he may have had some interaction with them waaaaay back then, because if I recall correctly, we never resolved the issue of where he learned this language nor did we ever learn how it worked. However, since then, Daniel has learned to communicate with us and the probes (more or less successfully at times), so that leads me to the next step.
We should tell Daniel what Enoch has encountered and get him to help us translate what the Amphibian is trying to communicate to him. There is a real possibility here that we can at least open a line with the Amphib that could go a long way toward our resolving (for ourselves at least) some of what this conflict is between the Ipsos and Amphibs.
