The World Federation of Behavioral Modification and Theory concluded its first Annual Meeting here in Amsterdam last week. Federation President Jonathan Niles Naughton expressed satisfaction about the work of the assembly.

"We have made great strides toward establishing professional standardsand qualifications. Recognition for our vital work is long overdue. The bonds of cameraderie forged here will help us sustain the concentration and dedication required for success in our chosen field. Also, I wish to thank the beautiful city of Amsterdam for its part in making our meeting so successful."

Professor Naughton declined to comment on the arrest late Friday evening of twenty-seven Behavioral delegates. The behavioralists, all wearing strange-looking hats, were detained by authorities for noisily accosting citizens and pouring peppermint schnapps over their clothing.
