The World Federation of Behavioral Therapy and Modification will
convene for its first Annual Meeting here this week. Over five hundred members are expected to attend. Noted Canadian psychologist Professor Jonathan Niles Naughton, President and Treasurer of the organization, will give the keynote address at a luncheon on Tuesday.

Professor Naughton describes the goals of the organization as
"a long over-due effort to coalesce various related disciplines
and synthesize standard protocols for behavioral modification.
In the past, practicioners in this exciting new field have had no guidance or direction. They have had to struggle bravely, as it
were, without professional codification of techniques. Our First Annual Meeting represents a milestone in obtaining recognition and
respect for our work."

Professor Naughton acts as a consultant for Brunel-Brauer GmbH.
"I have been a given a splendid opportunity to use my skills to further the goals of the organization. Although I am not at liberty to disclose specific details, I can say that my work involves
data extraction and verification."
