I can find some of the pieces, but can't put all the pieces together.

"Strands of amino acids" and water, usually indicate life or some precursor thereof (stuff of primordial "soup")

Emitting Methyl Iodide (radioactive) could have something to do with the "glowing" Iodine 129 is a radioactive gamma emmitter with a very long half-life. Don't know if it glows or not. Normal (non-radioactive) methyl iodide is a colorless liquid at those conditions that turns brown on exposure to light. Have we done any sort of analysis that would tell us what Ipsos are made of and what makes their colors?

Not sure what the increased (but still very low) oxygen level indicates. Proximity to an area of higher oxygen content. Oxygen could be persisting from some historic higher oxygen content. It could also be being produced in some sort of reaction. Perhaps also, some level of oxygen is required to sustain that blob. Also, (though not mentioned by Zach or Enoch) the oxygen could be being emitted by the blob.

Increased sulfur levels and elevated temp. signals geothermal or perhaps volcanic activity to me.

WSU - Could the blob be a warning sign that there is danger (perhaps volcanic) ahead? I think we need to warn Zach and Enoch to proceed with great caution and to put that blob back.
