Like it or not, we (Gail and the other probes) are already involved, deeply, intimately involved. Without Gail's testimony, Caleb will probably get away with murder. Not testifying will probably do more harm than testifying. Not only will Caleb be mad that Gail told someone what happened, Fitzgerald would be mad that she refused to testify. He might remove his order of protection.
