I was reading Andrews mesage about Daniel and i think "The one" could be an Amphibian trying to escape from Ipso controle. "The One" could have some how gain Daniel's trust and talked him in to droping the ship out of hyperspace, so he could escape back to the Anphibs.
(I may be wrong i havent fully researched the incommings to find out any other info.. just from what I have seen I developed this)
