Continuing with the idea to promote doubt about the artifacts, I would like to propose the following:
Let's begin a campaign of planting false information that the entire MarsDawn project is a fake. What I mean is we need another party to initiate contact with Ms. Chang (again, via an anonymous mail server) with the intent that this person is "coming clean" about the "cruel joke being foisted upon an unsuspecting audience."
This "Deep Throat" character (and why not use that nom de plume?) will be tasked with planting as many seeds of doubt as possible. I envision the approach to be similar to the conspiracy theorists who believe the moon landings were creations of NASA filmed in Afganistan.
Let's work to throw off her equilibrium while not directly attacking in so obvious a way as breaking her legs. It is not "the gentlemanly thing to do" and it just does not produce the effect it has in the movies.
