I say we pack all we have and RUN. If we can fit all the equipment in the tram, maybe we can fit miners/drones/probes on TOP of the tram. Kind of a Beverly Hillbillies type set up (Or Grapes of Wrath, whatever your entertainment choice). Anyhow, I'd say we head for a nice distant point of Mars, one with some defensible positions and especially one with hill country, rough ground, and other things that CP's can't get through. Then we only have phibs and ipsos to worry about, and they'll be busy killing each other.
Of course, there is a lot to be said for staying, too.
Could we in anyway dig ourselves in? If we dug trenches and low tunnels into the mountainside, the CP's might pay us no heed. We could hide all the eq. in a dug out cave, with the sun sails spread out in a number of dug-out areas, to minimize the damage when one is found (is this possible?). Maybe we could even steal some CP sun sails (or better yet, most of their base. I'm hoping that once their comms are down, they will be mostly out of the fight. Hey - why don't we take advantage of that moment and pul out some power couplings of the nearby CP's Then we might be able to at least use the for parts (defenses maybe?). At bgest, we would have some big, bad, guard dogs and transports.
I'm serious about the tunneling in. Trenches worked in many past wars, and now we will be able to hide INSIDE a mountain. If we disguise this right, and work hard, they might not find us and move on (we know how smart the CP's are). Comments, PLEASE!
