OK-
I've just been catching up on this week. Boy! is it getting busy. First off, I have a question for Al-Q; how many pings do you have? At first, we had I think less than 20 C-P's Now, there are many, many coming down on us. What can you tell us?
Next, about that lander. I completely disagree with the concept it has anything to do with any of the current situations. Daniel saw it there a long time ago, but would never tell us what it was (remember the odd thing in the image right before he found the C-Lander? That was a tram. If that wasn't this tram, it was A tram, so that would imply the Ipsos scatter them around. I think it was THIS tram.
Also, it did NOT take Daniel 20 days to get from the C-Lander to the fortress. Either a. he took a tram or b. C-L is not as far away as we think. Al-Q what can you give us on distance and direction form your pings? It seems like we had a beeter idea of where it was BEFORE we tried to get to it.
As for the "trial" I have a strong suspicion that they are about to be set free. It seems as if Burn is one heck of a good lawyer, as he got Caleb to trip up on his logic. The problem is, we need to get a better understanding of the Ipso culture. Burn won't always be able to bail out our probes. Maybe we could talk to him about getting the probes some sort of basic ethnography of Ipso culture. (Yes, I just finished a Cultural Anthro class, so sue me ;} )
Oh, and I really don't like the idea of Gail rushing after Daniel and Andrew, leaving Teddy at home alone. Sounds like a recipe for disaster two ways; C-Probes for Gail and Teddy for the fortress.
As always, suggestions, comments, flames, etc. are more than welcome.
