Look at Daniel's last transmission. It sounds like he has been inducted into some sort of cult by the Ipsos. I think this is what WildX was getting at with the brotherhood comment (correct?). Maybe the Ipsos are a heavily religious culture, possibly one like the Egyptian that worships their leader (this would explain why Daniel sounds like he's heard from "the One"). Either way, if they are really into religion, this could play into our hands.
WSU plan:
If anyone here has played startcontrol 2, you mnight recall a race that wasalso heavily religious. Their gods told them to kill and destroy anyone who was from a different race. Turned out later in the game that their "gods" were just some clever aliens with a really powerful transmitter and a sick sense of humor. In the course of the game, you got the transmitter and "set them right" by using the same methods and claiuming you were a god.
Might we be able to pull a similar stunt with the Ipsos? Yes, I know I seem off my rocker, but think about it for a moment before flaming. Then, as always comments/ideas/flames are encouraged. ;-)
