How about we simply superimpose on the images we send them "Property of MarsDawn (or whatever) all rights reserved"? This way everyone knows it is not theirs.
As for their having/not having dilyn, we need to find out. How about offering them some more alien info in exchange for solid info on Dilyn? Maybe phrase it as "assistance in locating her" - give them a nice ego boost. It doesn't matter if they think we need them or not. If they get cocky they will make (more) mistakes, as long as we don't start bending to their will, let them think what they want. This is why I didn't want the cofee note. If they think we are not a threat they might slip. If they realise we are a threat, they will certatintly be more careful. Save the coffee routine to squeeze them if need be.
