I fully agree to leave this part:
>We are not sure if these images pertain to a current civilization,
>or one that may have disappeared a long time ago.

The probe knows that this statement is a lie, but our politic has always been not to advise them to lie. Therefore we should leave that.

"I don't agree to provide them images. That will put them into a proper position. They can sell it as their full success by mentioning that it had been their own probes that took it. We should think about a way, H&P can't use it that way. What's about a detailed description of the glyphs, but no picture. That is as much help as their command codes, but it shows good will and keeps them tight enough.

The image is at:

What's about to tell them according Koalas last version:

"Parker and Hardon.
Thank you for the control codes. Unfortunately, they were of little use to us, as your surviving probes have been shown how to change their own codes and are, in fact, now our allies. However, you have shown that you can negotiate in an apparently fair manner. We are therefore describing some alien markings we have found:

[Addition:]There are about twelve glyphs in a cave. Most of them look like birds. One in the center is looking like a man, who is reading a newspaper and there are some looking like single arms of a clock and maybe that right of the center could be a rocket.[End of Addition]

We agree to send you some future information upon the unconditional and safe release of Miss Dilyn Carter. Once we have verified she has been returned unharmed and no longer under threat from you or your associates, we will then be prepared to share future discoveries with you."

Weather they have Dilyn or not, it's their problem. But they know something about her, for it had been themselves, who brought up the item once. However, the describtion is a nice yank. Koala please take it send it over ...
