I agree with both of you. I do think that if we want to keep them on the hook, we will need to give them some line to run with, so to speak. I think Hamlet's idea of a couple of glyphs should suffice.
But I LIKE the bit about the coffee. It does not directly say that the probes had anything to do with whatever happened, but it will certainly make them think twice before trying to double cross us.
Now, about Dylin, ... If they are holding her hostage, and I am not so sure that they are (what good would holding her hostage do), and they let her go, wouldn't they just shadow her and follow her right back here? Not a nice thought.
