Except, it did not do this with Lucy, or the Stage 2 facility. No, I think you've got a good point here - it is somehow sensing that Bette and Isaac are there. Could it be catching Bette's transmissions to us? If so, that would mean that Andrew and Zach would have to observe radio silence during the trap.
On a side note - I'm getting a really bad feeling about that trap, ike we are missing something big. I can't quite place it, but I don't like it. I'm not saying to cancel the trap, but we need to think carefully and proceed with extreme caution... It just seems too easy.
