I think this supports an earlier WSU proposal of mine where I suggested the Amphibians are another group of Ipsos.

Wouldn't that help to explain how the Amphibians could have commandered the Groove so easily and displaced the "good Ipsos" with whom we are dealing? I am suggesting the word Amphibian is considered to be a slur or insult that perhaps relates to a socially unacceptable habit of remaining in the (sacred?) waters far too long.

BTW: What effect does sugar have on the freezing point of water? Can that explain why a standing pool could exist? If not, we should find yet another (de)compression chamber where not only is the pressure equalized, but the moist air is forced to remain in the "pool chamber."
