I liked your post to Enoch. It definitely takes a stand, a very forceful, "in your face" kind of a stand.
But I do have one little problem though (you knew this was coming, didn't you?). The last part says, "4:A state of war will be declared and we will no longer discourage
the actions suggested by independent Earth allies who see you as a
threat requiring elimination with extreme prejudice."
The part that bothers me is the 'independent Earth allies' part. Do we really want to give P&H concrete verification of the probes' link to Earth? It's bad enough that their suspicions are high. If Brunel-Brauer can send a rocket to Mars, even in a somewhat-less-than-successful fashion, they probably have the ability to track us down. Remember, Jose got capped, we still don't know Dylin's disposition and somebody said "Boo!" to the Naught One. And, if nothing else, it probably wouldn't be too hard for them to figure out how to jam the probes' transmissions.
Unfortunately, my cerebral condition is such that I can't think of what else to put after "A state of war will be declared" unless you'd be willing to change it to "4) A state of war has been declared." and leave it at that.
And if you don't read this in time, cest la vie. We'll let the chips fall where they may (I just hope they fall somewhere else).
