Slow down, you move too fast.
Ya' gotta make the morning last, just...
Kickin' down the cobblestones,
Lookin' for fun and feelin' groovy.
(Paul Simon - "Feelin' Groovy")
Well, it seems our buddy Zachary is "Someplace Else"...
...and they closed the door behind him. I think we need to discuss scenarios on how to contact him or retrieve him.
Obviously, the most straightforward thing to do would be to ask the Ipsos for further information and help in re-establishing contact with our friend. It would seem to be necessary for the Ipsos to open the Groove at some point to see if their little experiment worked, or do they just wait for the "other Ipsos" to send him by "return Groove-mail." The problem is - we only have two available probes and they are otherwise occupied with Andrew repairs. Who do we send as ambassador. Can we ask still Daniel to communicate with them directly?
Another option - open the Groove ourselves and see if we can make radio contact with Zachary. As I suggested earlier, it seems possible that a probe "scream" could open the Groove. Enoch mentioned a loud noise when the Groove was opened. The Ipsos were worried that the groove was opened after Zachary screamed at Daniel the first time. Screams have always come in pairs, so whenever we've been to look at the groove it is "re-closed". It's worth a try, but we need to be fully prepared, if we open the door, to close it right back in case of amphibians. We need to have a specific plan of action and, once again, we're kinda' short on "probepower".
Anybody else got any ideas? I don't like the idea of just sitting around knowing nothing.
