I agree with the assessment that Andrew should be repaired with parts from the EU-probe. I cannot see doing so as wrong or immoral.

I am glad none of our friends have thought to look at the probe's designation and give it a name. That would be the same as the farmer's daughter who names the pig destined to be bacon in a few months. The thought of a Probe crying over a lost pet EU-probe really hurts.

The only counsel I would give in indirect opposition to you, Taz, would be to tone down the declarations of War. We all know that shots have been fired and casualties suffered. We all know that the EU-probes have been programmed with hostile intent. We all know that if 'push comes to shove' and a decision has to be made between the continued existance of our Probes and that of the EU-probes, the Probes win without an argument. We do not need to match their beligerance with that of our own. We need to set the better public example, while remaining and becoming better prepared for hostile action if it should prove necessary. The best strategy for such preparation is to do it quietly while maintaining an outward appearance of neglecting that potential.
