<P>What if the Amphibians are actually another branch of the Ipsolstai? The descriptions we have received suggest a body structure well suited to (semi-)acquatic life.
<P>Such a turn would explain how the Amphibians were able to take over control of the Groove. It would also explain the Ipsolstai's fear and loathing because it is enhanced by a sense of shame that &quot;their own kind&quot; could be like that.
