A virus would be a really dastardly "secret weapon" in their arsenal and definitely something I would suspect P&H and company to do.
If that is the case, we had better warn Enoch IMMEDIATELY. One way I would arrange to ensure reception is to make it difficult for the sending probe to be heard without requiring the listening Probe to dedicate its full attention to the task.
Do you remember Enoch mentioning how softly Isaac was speaking and how he could hear him if he listened very carefully? We may already have two infections on our hands.
