that's a good. idea. i was thinking of using the landscape and any familiar landmarks he might know. but if i remember right he said he didn't recognize any of the surrounding area.

That mountain in the picture might not be the one you're thinking of. If Andrew can't find what he's looking for then he's in a little bit of trouble. I think that one of the other probes should activate their emergency beacon while they are somewhere they can be safe and defend themselves if needed. Like in the fortress. Then he can center in on that and use it as a beacon of sorts.

He said today that he didn't see Olympus Mons anywhere. Not a good sign we just need to keep him calm while we sort things out, and not let him go off exploring or trying to find his way home. As I told him yesterday he'll only end up more lost than he already is. If that's possible.
