A message to Daniel is in order explaining one of the basic premises of cryptography - *BOTH* sides must understand the code for it to be useful.

We do not "prefer" Dr. D's code or Morse code to his rocktalk - it's just that we *know* what those codes are, and can understand them. We have not been able to figure out what the rocktalk code is. (We're slow sometimes).

If you want a "rosetta stone", suggest that seeing a known message, like "over the fence jumped quick brown lazy foxes" would help. Or
we can go binary, asking for an odd true prime number of rocks if "increasing primes" (a=2 thru Z=101), a perfect square (4, 9, 16) if a+1 b=2 etc ... The point is to have a rocktalk message with known content sent.

Personally, I like the "rosetta on request".
