Let's remember the sequence of events in the death of Gen. After Zachary screamed and stopped Gen for awhile, didn't the Ipsos hop in their tram and make a quick exit only to come back later and "blow the big guy away? Perhaps the Ipsos don't routinely carry their weapons around in the tram with them. Maybe the went to get a bazooka to blast the B&B boys with.
I'm hoping that we can get the command and access codes from P&H before the Ipsos return, so that we can stand a better chance against the Lings when they arrive. If we get the codes, Zach may have to do some fast talking to keep the Ipsos from blasting the EUs before we have a chance to convert them. We could sure use the extra fire power. If we can gain control, we not only neutralize the threat from the EU-probes, but gain a valuable tool for our defense against Lings, amphibians, Ipsos, whatever.
