That’s a good question Xanthos. How do you steel a Groove?
As of yet, we don’t have a solid, physical,
description of a Groove. How big is it? How heavy? What shape or composition. With that in mind,I have Four scenarios to submit.
1: A small, irreplaceable, key device that makes it possible to use the Groove system, was
taken by the Amphibians, rendering the system useless. Like a car with no keys.
2: The central complex for Groove operations was invaded and seized by the Amphibians
who now refuse to let the Ipsolstai use it.
3: The designs and blue prints for building and instructions for operating a Groove where
taken. That would be theft of intellectual property.
4: The amphibians are really, really, big and one of them stuck the whole dammed thing in
his pocket and split.
Whatever the case, I'm sure it will be revealed as Caleb becomes fluent in our language.

Many pods of six were hatched, nurtured.
Influence extended, scholarship praised.
Brotherhood reknowned.”
“ Amphibians stole Groove.”
Some of Caleb’s statement serves to strengthen my case that the Ipsolstai are indeed a peaceful
society who’s culture centers on the quest for knowledge and academic achievement.
They reproduce, place great importance on the raising of their young and have strong family
values.
Still, unclear to me is what he means by “Brotherhood reknowned”. Is brotherhood reserved for
members of their species only? Or, Does is it extended to other species who share their
commitment to peace?
And lastly, ”Influence extended”?
Does this mean they have earned the respect and admiration of other species or societies to the
point that,with their wisdom and guidance, they can affect political decisions and policies on other
worlds? Is that why they came to our solar system? Because we represent a threat to universal
harmony that can be corrected with intervention? If that’s the case, I hope they come to earth
soon and kick some serious butt at the next UN meeting.
