Well! Xanthos has just asked Zachary the BIG ONE! What do the Ipsolstai look like... please send us an image. We've known about them for quite some time but with all of the excitement we've never seen one. Any Wild Speculation on their appearance? These Little Green Men from Mars... aren't! (From Mars, that is.) I hope Zachary sends us an image soon. I've wondered many times, but somehow their physical shape seemed secondary to how they think. Now I wonder, does appearance influence our cognitive approach to reasoning, i.e. does something with legs like a human or a probe for that matter think differently than a fish, dolphin or whale due to environmental concerns or physical differences? Or, is it strictly a function of intellectual development? Are we very different from the Ipsos in our reasoning or are we still experiencing translation problems that will work themselves out eventually? If we think very differently is it due to our physical differences or because of evolutionary/environmental influences? These are exciting times!
