ENOCH FIX ME RIGHT AWAY

By the way, I don't know Morse code. I found a Morse Code page off of Yahoo (search key: Morse Code); there's a page in the returned results called "Morse Code and the Phonetic Alphabets". I'm using that and doing a character-by-character look-up.

Bette *could* just report what Gail is saying rather than sending the Morse strings - it uses less bandwidth on the Earth-Mars transmission link. They don't send the radio spectral patterns they use to "talk" to each other and make us decode it; the same reasoning could be used for morse.

Of course, some will argue that it takes all the fun out of decoding it by hand ....
