We could have Zachary continue the bluff with something like "Gosh guys. It looks like your probes had a rather rough reception." (Yank, yank, tug, yank)

Also, we could have the probes make a rescue attempt. I think that they should talk with all the EU-probes, but only release those who can be "converted" to overriding their command codes. If that doesn't happen, the EUs stay put. Sounds cruel, but the EUs ARE a threat (are YOU going to let the hungry polar bear out of his cage?). Of course, this is dependent on it not being an all-or-none situation. If it is all-or-none, we can't let ANY of them out until they are ALL converts to the "MARSupial Way."
