Bombardier I went into the Turing Test Website and building Artificial Persons. They are pretty far away in their AI Project from where our Probes are. Anyway, it gives a good kick to think about, what makes human sentient. In my opinion it's something like self determination, free will, being voluntary and responsibility in the meaning of being morally accountable. [http://www.ptproject.ilstu.edu/pt/fwdtaq.htm]

Concerning the Probes it's not easy to prove that they are not controlled but advised by us. Bette is making good suggestion by saying that their actions can prove it. However, what's our target ?? Is it to implement our "truth" that the Probes are sentient or will it be enough, that the Ipsos are respecting them as sentient. I think it is enough, that they respect them as sentient as a main rule to build up a relationship with us and with the Probes, though it might cause a cognitive dissonance to respect them as sentient.

I think at the moment a pragmatic way fits the best.

They already have shown their interest in dealing with the probes by actively establishing communication with them and with us. Nevertheless, we have to improve our attraction and to assure them of our peaceful intention, so they don't fear any harm from our side.

First, we have to avoid everything that might cause a disturbance. So Andrew should not move the beanie over to them. Especially as Gail and Andrew should keep themselves in the background, if negotiations turn bad. The open door at Enoch room I think is okay, but he should remain close enough to play possum behind his statement, that he wants to be respected as sentient and doesn't want to be changed. And please no paranoia modes at the moment (thanks).

Next, we have to warn the Ipsos instantly about the coming EU-Probes again and tell them again, that these probes look similar to ours. Then we have to make sure they can differentiate between our Probes and the EU-Probes. No Problem if the Ipsos want to mark the casing of our probes. We also have to introduce them to the Fortress and to tell them, that our Probes still have to do some drilling to finish the Fortress.

Probably the EU-Probes are acting obviously different to our Probes, so there is a chance to prove that our Probes are acting on their own will.

What we haven't done until now, is to introduce our Probes to our vision. As I just see, Bombardier has done that already by transmitting his "Greetings to the Ipsolstai" to all probes. But we need to commit them to this vision, though I think they willingly agree.

Last (but not least) we have to feed the Ipsos with Information about Earth. General Information, like how many humans live on Earth, what are Japanese, Chinese, European, MARSupials. Special information, that not nations but co-operations have sent and will sent probes. And we've to tell them openly, that we also do not know, how the Probes became sentient, but we have to accept it as a fact, and we are dealing good by respecting them.

I think, Bombardier is a good Ambassador to keep up the direct link with the Ipsos, so we should feed and advice him, so he can canalize syntheses coherent to them.

Sorry, I've to leave ... see you ...
