Remember the filters behind the big fans in the tunnel?<p>Why was it covered with carbon???  Is there a significant amount of graphite or ash in the Martian air?  There did not appear to be anything there to convert the CO2...or...<p>Is this not, as we had surmised, a ventilation shaft???<br>Groove anchor, maybe???  Could the heiroglyphs offer some info???
