SUBJECT>Bette's reaction ... My thoughts POSTER>Taz EMAIL>XO@Team.Andrew DATE>July 18, 1997 at 11:06:54 EMAILNOTICES>no PREVIOUS> NEXT> LINKNAME> LINKURL>

I have been thinking about Bette's reactions to the news that she has been de-activated for 75 days, and her "inability" to receive the compressed data file from Gail.

Picture this, if you will: A small child and an adult in a room alone. The adult is trying to tell the child something that the child does not want to hear, e.g. "Eat all your dinner, or you'll get no bedtime snack." The child, thinking that not hearing it makes it not so, sticks his fingers in his/her ears and starts screaming at the top of his/her lungs.

Is Bette refusing to receive the compressed message, because receiving it means that she would have to acknowledge the FACT that she was de-activated for 75 days.
