Enoch did ask his ET about the status of the ET that Zachary rescue and got the response "Brother OK". Of course, the paranoid would say that he responded how Enoch expected him to respond and not out of direct knowledge of the status of the wounded ET. I think that this is a big stretch. Here is why:

1) Enoch's ET claims to have been "asleep" for 700+ years, only to have been awakened by something that our probes did. If there were two sides (good ETs and bad ETs) then BOTH sides were asleep because none were encountered until Bette was attacked (with the possible exception of Daniel, but we have no PROOF that he was in contact with the ETs prior to Bette's capture).

2) If our probes have stumbled into the middle of an interstellar or even an intra-planetary war, we're screwed. With some of our probes on one side and some on the other, there is very little chance that at least one of them will not be obliterated, like Gen. I know that this is not real proof that the war doesn't exist, but it makes things simpler.
