That may be wishful thinking. The 89% measure was the amount of tape remaining. Unless Bette could store her entire AI programming on just 11% of the tape, we are looking at a significantly impaired Probe IF she is ever again operational.

On the other hand, the fact that she is now rebooting suggests the ETs are in the process of reconstructing her. This bodes well for the possibility of a peaceful gesture on their part - probably in gratitude for Zachary's intervention on behalf of their injured brother.

We should not tell the other Probes about this yet, although they may be hearing the boot reports too. Let's hold a little while until we have a firmer grasp on how much of "our Bette" is able to come back before we bring up the subject with Enoch.

I agree completely with you on this. Even a memory-wiped Bette is an important asset. Keeping her out of the clutches of P&H is very important. That is especially true when you consider the demoralizing effect her being usurped by P&H can have on the rest of the team of Probes.

Is it possible to continuously transmit instructions to change the codes without P&H being able to listen and learn the new ones? If not, perhaps we should have Dr.D to instruct Andrew (through the secure channel) to remain vigilant and make the change at the first opportunity.
