And on another point, you call Enoch several derogatory names. First, that is immature. Secondly, shouldn't you be careful of "anthropomorphizing our tools"? Find a philosophy regarding the probes, adopt it, and STICK WITH IT.

And this is based on what? If we eliminate the "human" features of the probes, they are equal. Enoch's impairment is one of mobility, not of communications (hint: that is *Daniel's* problem).

So exactly what in your training makes you an expert in non-human communications? This isn't some heretofore undiscovered South Pacific tribe. With them a common frame of reference could be established, based on the fact that we are all human. Even communication with apes is based on common frames of reference since we all occupy the same taxanomical order. And you, in your infinte wisdom, want to intervene in a discussion between a machine and a ciliated Martian? The pedestal on which you place yourself must give you perpetual nosebleeds.
