Given the input in other threads about alternate interpretations of the ET's most recent message, here are some more possible things for Enoch to say:

"I still do not understand Groove. Please explain more about Groove. What is Groove? Is Groove the trenches my friends dug on the surface? Are those trenches harmful to you?"

"An amphibian lives both on land and in the water. Are you amphibian? Where is your homeworld? Is your homeworld OK? I am a probe. I was built by humans to explore this planet. More probes will land soon. Some will look like me, but they are not my brothers."

The questions about their homeworld can perhaps be put off until we know which of our interpretations of their question is correct, and on second thought, more questions about Bette should probably be put off until we know what their response is the message Enoch gave them today.
