Hmmm. I had not thought of that interpretation. I was assuming that the purple planet is their homeworld (see my post about 1 minute earlier), not Mars, but they could have adopted Mars as their homeworld. Certainly, stopping construction of the base for stage 3 would be erring on the side of caution. Once we understand the ETs better, we could always ask Gail to restart the drones.<p>joule
