SUBJECT>ET syntax and the ominous quality of their latest message to Enoch POSTER>Koala EMAIL>turtel@juno.com DATE>July 07, 1997 at 07:52:14 EMAILNOTICES>no PREVIOUS> NEXT>2722 2723 2724 2725 LINKNAME> LINKURL>

I believe I understand the following from it:

> "Despite Great Hurt We Resist Your Amphibian Masters. No New Anchor."

1) The "Great Hurt" may have been an attack by the J-probe upon the ETs from the ET-tram. The other possibility is the entrance into the atmosphere of the MarsPathfinder mission may have produced sonic booms that caused pain and hurt.

2) "Your Amphibian Masters" probably refers to all residents of Earth. (I deduce this from the fact that Earth is mostly covered with water. Therefore considering us amphibian is not a badly formed assumption.) That implies they do not yet understand the differentiation of factions (MARSupials vs. MNs, etc.) that we have had Enoch try to convey to them. Our recommendation (to Enoch) of response will have to be well thought out and carefully worded given the evidence of a loose understanding of English which we see in this latest message.

3) "No New Anchor" probably means they do not wish for us to establish a base on Mars. That will be a problem for our Probes since they are there on a "one-way ticket."

Any more thoughts, interpretations or suggestions?
