TAZ! I thought we had a long discussion about not giving bad examples to the troops. Now get unhooked from whatever it is you are on and gat back to the deep thinking. <G>
I also considered the colors to be communication. The striations of the metal/not-metal led me in that direction also, but I found the analogy to the squids to be too compelling given the fact that the descriptions we have of them remind me so much of one.
