     As I understand it, the XO is the right hand of the Captain. His job discription includes keeping the Captain on his/her toes and taking command in the absence of the Captain. I,m sure there is more to it than that but, that would be the nut shell version. For our purposes, the dutys of the XO can still be defined.<p>Ratboy<br>
