I would like to thank the Bomber for allowing me to try out my new poison pen.

Dr. Naughton
Thank you for your "ever-so-helpful" analysis of our current situation. We will take your suggestions under advisement (heh heh heh).

Just a few comments, though...

The Japanese probe is obviously bigger, faster, stronger, and more up to date than your probes, Miss Dilyn. We recommend appeasement as your obvious course.

>>And the hare is much faster than the tortoise. It'll be no contest.
>>What???!!! A little boy with a slingshot???!!!
BWHAAAHAAAHAAAHAAA!!!!!!
>>Jonathan, we recommend a guts transplant as your obvious course.

In drawing a door with a doorknob, he indicated that the discussion was terminated and he no longer wished to communicate.

>>...the other blind man said, "my, the elephant is very much like a tree."
>>A bit short-sighted aren't we, Jonathan? If the only thing a door means to you is "I want out." Then by all means, let me show you the door. Did you not read a day or two earlier when Enoch mentioned that he thought he could communicate with the aliens if he could only get to the "holo-suite". Let's keep an open mind, shall we, Dr(?)?

The aliens are obviously insulted. What consequences his rash actions will cause remains to be seen.

>>The aliens are obviously cautious and anxious to communiate with this their first Earth contact. What rewards his commendable actions will achieve remais to be seen.

Mr(?) Dr(?) Naughten, I realize that you have not been involved in this sort of project before (as most of us have), but you do claim to be a scientist of sorts. Take off your blinders and allow yourself to consider all the angles before you put your reactions "on paper". An old friend of mine has a motto:

Think...Write...Think...Post.

I hope none of your colleagues are reading your reports. If they are, your credibility will certainly be waning and further publications may be in doubt.
