After thinking about this for awhile, I've come up with both an upside and a downside.<p>On a positive note, a trench system would be faster and easier to build and should be quite effective against the J-probe.<p>On a negative note, only the traps and/or mines would be effective against the EU-probes.  Remember, they're essentially the same design as "our" probes.<p>I recommend we use this as the "first phase" of the fortress plan.<p>Again, just MHO...<p>---<p>Zero   <br>0=o
