There has been much excitement on this board because the J-Probe is headed towards Jose's Cave and the elevator there doesn't work.
Has it occurred to anyone that the carbon-coated filter may not be the barrier to the J-Probe that it was to our probes? Or that it may have the ability (designed or improvised) to descend the shaft without the platform?
The J-Probe's a big unknown right now and we cannot tell what it can and can't do based on our probes' abilities.
