Since the J-probe is sending out its proclamation and the probes can hear it, they must be on the same frequency (or scanning). I assume the J-probe controllers are also communicating similarly with their probe.

I wonder what are the possibilities of our probes listening (eavesdropping) and learning the access and command codes for the J-probe.

If we can learn these then we can gain control of the J-probe and turn it into an asset in stead of a liability.
